  1. Some times it will spark in fresh air ( earthed against the cylinder ) but not under compression if the cdi is faulty .
  2. I pull the sheet up and tuck it down the gap between the load bay and the cab .
  3. Low compression ? Typical symptom ......
  4. No brainer . Got to be the new one .
  5. Looks a genuine " minter " to me . How much is a new one in the shop ?
  6. Are you asking about the whole machine or just a blade ? If just a blade I can recommend the Oregon mulching blade with the turned down ends . If its the whole machine then a Husqvarna 545RX is a good un .

    346xp Porting

It is well worth doing . I have one ( amongst others ) that " spud " ported for me a few years ago . It transforms it . Runs faster , stronger and cooler . Currently on a 15" bar full chiz chain and driven by an 8 pin sprocket . Give spud a PM . Money well spent !
  8. At the risk of stating the obvious you are pushing the choke back in after the first " pop " ? The only other thing I can think of is timing which would mean the fly wheel has shifted . This would mean the key has sheared .
  9. Chiken Tikka masala with bombay potatoes and a sagaloo
  10. I got severely told off for using an expression like that . The mod said " do it again and your out "
  11. This I recomend . I have "spud ported " 346 . Its been outstanding . must be 3 or 4 years since he did it for me . Runs a 15" full chiz driven by an 8 pin . Would be bonkers on a 13" !
  12. Not sure if these parts are on production saws yet . I have pre production parts on my saw and it now can be dropped on the strop with no worries .
  13. Brand new tank with spigot for limiter wire , brand new bottom plate with beefed up spring mount and new barrel shaped stronger spring .
  14. If you go for 540 make sure it has the beefed up grey bottom plate with the stronger spring mount and the " barrel " shaped spring and the new tank with the limiter tether .
  15. Chicken carcass on the ground tied with a string going through the bedroom window attached to a bell . .22 centerfire next to the bed . Bell rings ..............Works every time .
  16. I hate it but it was an Audi A3 and there as a switch to turn it off .
  17. I blanked mine off and took the guts out of the DPF . Runs a lot sweeter now .
  18. Thunder lightening and lots of rain Jon .
  19. Same . I know its not what the thread is about but I would not by supermarket fuel because of the ethanol content .

    Makita Saw

What did I tell ya ?
  21. The 266 was back in the day of not so good quality oil . If you use a modern synthetic that says mix at 50 : 1 it will be fine in the 266 . Nowadays I mix Redline Racing 2T oil with Aspen 4 at 50 : 1 .
