  8. Piston definitely is knackered . If you can salvage the pot then do so but don't just assume it was lack of oil . Could just as well been an air leak making it run lean , over revving and over heating . No point in sorting the pot and piston for it to nip up again .
  9. Yep check those first but could be crank seals . If it does in one attitude but not another sometimes its the crank seals .

  13. Machines become uneconomical when it costs more to keep them running than they make in income . This situation can be kept at bay by proper maintenance but nothing lasts for ever .
  14. Also the early ones were 5 bolt and the newer 6 bolt so make sure its the latest type .
  15. Like you I have had a good look all over and can only find some , and only some , states in the U.S. Nothing in the U.K.
  16. I have a friend who was in the Red Arrows ( how cool is that ? ) He is a pilot for Virgin now . Plays the piano really well . Very understated and nice guy .
