Sounds like it might be faulty fuel valve . ( some electronic part I think ) Also get it reset at the dealers . Then set the A/T yourself in a deep cut for a few mins .

Got a 05 D22 and it has never gone wrong ! Just passed another MOT I change the oil and filter every 6K . It was a bad ( out of spec ) batch of con rod bolts that failed on early D22 models .
