  1. Mine has never flooded . Some times it needs to be revved hard for a few seconds to clear , bit like a 200 on a cold morning first start . The only thing that has happened is a bent rear a.v. spring but its still like it and works fine . will replace it as and when . My mate ran it dry once and had to have the carb reset which took seconds but had to drive to my dealer . In hind sight it would have reset its self if I just revved it hard for a bit / Took the spark screen out strait away . I would say that now after about 4 weeks or so it is stronger than a 200 and light years ahead of a 201 .
  2. Lots of threads on this but....In a nut shell T540 a winner strait out of the box . ( we have both saws you mention ) . Also my Dad drive a hybrid Toyota .
  3. Randy Duncan in the u.s. He will post to U.K. .
  4. Been doing it today . 45cc Husky strimmer Oregon mulching blade . Do the strait down thing on the bramble then side to side . Rashers off saplings no problem then just tilt the head and push the turned down end into the stalks and it mullers it all up .
  5. Slight de rail due to your photo .....How are you finding your Burley stove ? I have the same model and am over the moon with it
  6. Yea ... I find the Zermattas big and clumpy and not bendy at all . As you say good for spiking and comical for walking !
  7. Thought so . Just my pair don't have Pfanner written on them anywhere that I can see . They have" Crispi " on the outer......Oh just found it on the little label where it says made in italy. Ignore this ....
  8. Quick question ... Kilmar Air Zermatt and Pfanner Air Zermatt are one in the same boot ?
  9. Oh no I'm a " southern softy " having said that we had some snow here last winter . I just thought they were warmer than my Meindles so use them more in the winter . Every one is different I suppose
  10. O.K. Ta. There is a lot of baffeling in the muffler on mine . Will send it off to spud for a porting job when he has time . He has done all my non auto tune saws and it makes a huge difference .
  11. How early is an early one Troll ?
  12. Got a pair . Good climbing/spiking boot . Every body ( except Steve Blair ) seem to think they are too hot for summer use so best in the winter . Found them a little rigid for ground walking but no body else seems to have found that so just me maybe .
  13. My small compressor has lasted 10 years + and still going strong . Had to replace the hose once and the rubber feet have come off . As I said great value Its a " Cosmo Air 1.5 hp .
  14. I have one similar to that . No tank . Its only on when you use it so not randomly cutting in to re fill the tank . I would be lost without it to be honest . Pump the truck tires up and blow out the saws etc . Great value .
  15. Got some Pfanner Zermatts . Well made boot but found them a little rigid for walking about a-la- groundy but good climbers .
  16. Thought there was no postage with Stihl stuff ??
  17. Using Kaspersky 2013 not noticed any slowing but have always used .
  18. Not quite the same but I had the top of my shoulder smashed to matchwood . the surgeon said he needed to replace my shoulder joint which would result in " some " pain , " some " loss of movement and stiffness . For " some " read lots . I have no rotator cuff muscles any more and cant raise my left arm much past my waist . Be sure you get a good idea how it will affect you long term .
  19. Second that . especially with any " whilst your here , can you just " ....
