Been using tachyon for my spider jack and for rope wrench been using kernmaster. ...thing is I just ordered a bulldog bone and now I'm off to Norway. What rope you think would be a all round rope for all 3? Then I only have to take one rope. Opinions would be appreciated?

Was wondering if there was anyone who could help me out.
I have been trying to splice now for a while and i keep failing if im honest. I have read alot and watched a few vids but i still cant get my head round it. Im kind of a monkey see monkey doo bloke. If there any one on here that would be kind enough to give up half a day or a day to teach me? I believe a guy called nod could but when rung company hes in japan.
Im willing to pay and travel abit as im in lincolnshire.
Would appreciate it if anyone could.

Tachyon new england is what I have found best for the spiderjack. Been climbing with them both for over a year and work well together...tried a few other ropes such as poison ivy but found it didnt self tend as good. Cam wise...I probs get through one every 2/3 months climbing 6 days a week. when it starts to slip slightly once pressure is applied I then put a new cam in. Make sure u keep it clean and get all the dust ect out the spiderjack as u can certainly tell the diference when you do clean it. Hope this helps :-)

Coz I have a pully saver the only thing I have used the snake anchor for is a base anchor for srt. So cant really comment on it in that respect

I have had that a couple times but I found that I was just doing it to tight to the trunk. Now I dont do it as tight its never got stuck. Or if you choke it, it seems to come out well and all. Try slacking it ofd a littlw more and that may help you.

Pully saver all the way....I climb with a spider jack and the pully saver works brilliant with it. I would say one of the best bit of climbing kit I have bought. All be it, its a tad exspensive but well worth. I found the 1.25 m one perfect lengh.

I second that..

I use arborisk mate and so do quite a few lads and a company I know. Really cheap and reasonable. Give them a shout. Google arborisk and will come up with there site

Rating them by pints of larger is a common one specially for the not so attractive one. Problem is I get pissed off a couple :-)

Been asked to reduce ash and this was at the base...its a tpo tree and when climbed in to crown a few limbs where hollow. The tree its doesnt look great and spans over 2 gardens. The council want it reducing but I think it needs to come out? If it is what I think isnt it a secondary fungie? Any advice would be great?
