Nice one Donald! I have just got back from work to find out that I have passed also, very pleased. It doesnt say anything about percents just a pass but ill take it.

Went and had a look - it was well rotted now and smelt real bad - I did notice it had a stem though, this discounts it being Meriplus sp. I guess...?

OK - thanks - I'm passing by it tomorrow early doors so will get some more pics then...and check for gills or pores.

Schoolboy error - never looked, it is fairly well decayed though - don't remember any gills as such...

Not sure if this is the right place to put this, but here goes...

Can anyone ID this fungi for me? It's under a Beech tree. There is another Beech tree adjacent that has a massive Meriplus giganteus underneath it...but this looks slightly different...

Any help greatly appreciated - apologies if pic not good enough.
