Hi Andy, For what we're selling our softwood for we certainly don't think it is false economy. Indeed you probably go through softwood at a quicker rate but if the cost is reflected in your supplies then softwood's on a winner. Just to give you some context about our softwood firewood supplies: Our firewood is mostly softwood (although we do have a fair amount of hardwood). Our stocks are fully seasoned and ready to burn. Moisture content testing averages between 15 and 20% which is pretty impressive for air-dried firewood. We have 1.2 cubic meter crates of fully seasoned softwood available at £45 per crate plus £5 deposit for each crate which we'll refund if the crate is returned. All logs are fully seasoned and ready to burn. We can deliver 48 crates at a time. We can also supply the logs in netted bags if anyone prefers for £2 each. Hi Yeti, Yes cheap and hope to get busier as temperatures dip. Agree 15% is very dry for air seasoned logs but Woodfuel Wales can validate this as they too have tested it recently. You're more than welcome to come down and test it yourself if you like. Best wishes, Brian

Hi Jamie, Each crate is rougly 250kg but we sell by volume rather than weight as UK law doesn't permit log suppliers to sell by weight (logs and firewood can contain water). We have a limited supply of hardwood and of courses prices are more expensive (£70 per crate plus £5 deposit for crate which is refunded upon return). How much hardwood are you looking for?
