  1. Those are mine. We have a different collection at work. I'd like to pick up a second hand 66 but they hold their value well.
  2. If its the glow plugs, check the relay too, had this on mine, put new plugs in, burnt them out again.
  3. This thread seems to have run it's course now. The minority that find it inappropriate can still go about their lives. If something as petty as this winds anyone up to the extent that they leave the site, I'd suggest the problem lies with them.
  4. Can't comment on the Krieger, but I picked up a pair of Stein Revolutions for a good price recently. Comfy, well made, reenforced in the right areas (knees and arse) and I like the weird pocket zips, they don't get left open and full of sawdust. They are on the heavy side, but what ballistics aren't? If the Krieger are supposed to be better than these I think Stein must be onto a winner!
  5. Personal preference I suppose. Some here prefer smaller bars to bigger engines. Myself, I got three. None see much use, just the occasional weekend. MS201t, MS211 and 038avSuper. The topper and 038 are the ones that usually come out to play.
  6. Ah fair enough. Pretty big bar for a saw that size!
  7. I normally shop at sainsburys. I went to aldi recently though, and frozen fruit is very cheap there!
  8. Gotta say dinner is the harder one for me too. If been using your smoothie idea this last week. 3 eggs, banana, a Handful each of blueberries and raspberries, and coconut milk. Lovely, and I wouldn't know the eggs were there if I hadn't made it myself. Might add some milled flax seed. Lunch is easy. Mixed leaves with pulled beef, pork or prawns. Mixed nuts and seeds and dried fruit to snack on. I still take milk with tea, and brown sugar with coffee. And I still enjoy a glass of red in the evenings. If I go out I drink cider now as opposed to lager. I don't miss bread at all, though I've recently started exercising (joined DefenceLab) and do sometimes feel faint after a hard warm up. Next goal is to cut down on booze and kick the Rollies.
  9. Did the OP apply for the job modelling Sugi Hara bars and loose to the pretty lady?
  10. Do you wax or shave mate?
  11. I've scrambled through rose, thorn etc and it's still good. Even brushed it wish a chain on rundown once, fine.
  12. How many £30 waterproofs would you get through in a year? If it keeps me dry for another 3 years I'll consider it a bargain.
  13. The Cut n Climb jacket from Clarkes is the best I've used. Pricey, but I've had mine for two years and it's still great. No padding, just pure waterproof. Even in summer couple it with a t shirt and it's not too warm.
  14. Oof, good question! This'll be interesting to hear from the fathers!
  15. Aw c'mon gramps! You not remember the feeling?
  16. Dave? Would it be something you'd be interested in undertaking? When you have a gap?
  17. Ah, shame, it would would have been fun to have a tiny saw with "short man syndrome"! I'll drill the muffler and look for a 10" bar for it, could be a laugh! Would an 038avSuper have more options?
  18. I'm happy where I am, and we got a good team. I do a bit of weekend work occasionally, but being employed suits me well. No problem Dave
  19. 8mm works nicely on my 11mm line. For one of the cheapest, I prefer it to Armorprus!
  20. Not much this time of year, I'd like to do more. He's a good guy to work for. Do you know him? I work hard for the company, and I'm valued for it
  21. Always fun to climb without the pressure of working, or a saw pulling your harness down!
  22. Pulleysaver is a retrievable pulley used as your top anchor, like a cambium saver. Sure, I'm always up for a weekend climb when the weather is good.
  23. Ah, the pulley with three carabiner holes is the "hitchclimber" pulley. Takes a bit of getting used to, and to get the most out of it a ropeguide/pulleysaver at the top is a must, but I love it.
