  1. I have a 211 and it's a lovely saw for light work. Small felling and limbing. As said £140 is about right for s/h Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  2. Looked like an enjoyable job. What was the larger saw you were using? The bar on that topper looked different too. Always makes me smile to se a krab being used like that for rigging. Baiting the purists?
  3. Is the Silky for those pesky TPO trees? You mentioned a grappling hook a while ago, when you were comparing the differences between working in the UK and BC. I've since been intrigued about how you use it. I'd be very interested to see some more of it and how you use it Reg. First rate work and filming, as per usual.
  4. I have the husqvarna one and it's great. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

I have a divot missing from my finger for the same reason. Blood works better than WD40. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  6. Didn't he die in a Mini crash? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. Sound advice, tony. But if the op is an impressionable non smoker you may have just shortened his life Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

I'll donate £50 if you offer it as a target in the next throw line comp. You should be safe if I'm throwing. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  9. I get it mate, I'm miles away from anywhere too. It's just pot luck sometimes. I got lucky this time. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  10. Funny that. Mine are a touch the opposite, but in a good way. I guess you can't cater for every shape and size. Unfortunately it's a risk you take buying online. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  11. I've seen your legs. You posted a photo in the "what's your real name" thread. Been stalking you ever since. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. You'd be pushing it with 30", IMO. 25" is the biggest it will happily run. You could perhaps pull a 30" skip chain, but really over 25" is 660 territory. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  13. Really!? Isn't he all old and stuff? I thought people put on weight with age! (That post might come round and bite me when I'm about 30!) Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  14. Okay, challenge. My gross weight including Arbortec strides = 10 stone. Dare to post yours Mark? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  15. Got my pair after work today. I'll be reviewing them soon and then again once they've been thoroughly worn in! First impressions are of a real quality pair of strides. I got Cs, and I usually wear As, but they are so fantastically light the only difference I notice is I can feel the extra padding round the back. Mine are quite snug. Perhaps I was optimistic with my waist size, but I really like a closer fit (skinny jeans were in when I used to follow fashion). Well stitched crotch, always a plus, and more pockets than I'll know what to do with! I just hope they don't fill up with sawdust! The boot lace hook will come in handy on dismantles too. So far they seem to be great fitting, light, cool for saw pants, and they look the mutts nuts! Well worth the money. Keep your eyes peeled for my review, we'll see if they last the test of time! 16. I'll wear mine just for you mate. Unfortunately my special order arseless ones won't have arrived yet. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  17. Wasn't Husqnarna one of the deadly sins? Btw I'm just about to buy my first orange saw. I'll call it Envy. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  18. Oh, and I've just lost my chuffing pantin. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  19. What exercises to you find counter the repetitive strain of rope work? I've been climbing on blaze for a while and my left elbow really feels it. Hyper extension from martial arts pad work exacerbates it too Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  20. Cheers Ed, I'll make some room in it and pm you after work Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  21. 40k!? I'm sick and tired of these paddies with their ladders coming in and undercutting "real" tree surgeons. It's people like you Mark that mean I can't quote competitively! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  22. Or I have an 038av Super I'm looking to sell, if you need a replacement saw I'll knock 100 off the price for your saw Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  23. I'm looking for a non runner, and can offer you £100 for it, if you're interested? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  24. Act your age... Oh wait, maybe you are Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  25. Yup, you're allowing the gasses to escape easier, hence cooler. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
