  1. Some recent additions to our Hire fleet - Giant SK251D - With Timber grab & pelican Bucket - £125/day (includes trailer if required)
  2. Tracked stump grinder hire Not Robocut related but definitely relevant for the members of this site. We've recently added a Predator P28x to our hire fleet. Check out this quick time lapse I made over the weekend of its first job. We are based in Ludlow, Shropshire. PM or see contact details on the website for more info.
  3. Video of the Robocut with omega mulching head making short work of a small woodland clearance job Nationwide Self drive hire, New and second hand units available
  4. Just out of interest what did you opt for?
  5. Just a thread showcasing some forestry/arb applications for the Remote Control McConnel Robocut First up a video of a bespoke full guard kit, incorporating a towbar and recovery winch, being used with in conjunction with a 320 Vavha Jussi Timber trailer - I'm new to video making (and crane use) so bare with me. Any questions or feed back are more than welcome See our YouTube page for the Video
  6. We have mcconnel robocuts for self drive hire with forest mulchers, if your interested, nationwide delivery if it's for long enough http://www.frankalviti.co.uk
  7. I understand the science, but on trees that size, or larger ones with no real lean there's not a lot of point to be honest. Anything really sketchy we'll always climb. But if there's no risk we just leave the hinge thick and pull away.
  8. Why is the winch cable too low? I've felled trees much bigger than that with the winch cable not much higher, if the winch has got the power there's not much point in climbing it surely?
  9. Uniforest 85h pro, epic winch, hydraulic out feed and radio remote control. Really impressed with the build quality and design features
  10. We have a fleet of McConnel robocuts available for self drive hire, this one has a h/d mulching head that eats brambles. Will also work comfortably on 50 to 60 degree slopes. We are based just outside ludlow so not too far from Worcester. http://www.frankalviti.co.uk
  11. 370,000, 55 plate 130, but it's a bit like triggers broom, think only the chassis and cab are original
  12. Where did you get the wrap for the 461 from?
  13. Wilks

    441 or 461

461 every day of the week, so good, always makes me smile, 25" bar, oversized dogs, absolute monster
