  1. Hi Baba, Why not amble over to swog.org.uk, where lots of us small woodland owners hang out, and ask there? When I got my wood, I fancied the forest garden, but have decided against it, because you have to visit more frequently than was practical for me, and it means introducing many non-native species into a wood. There are owners who have done it though. But regardless of that, I've got more than I expected from my wood. Like Ben says, you will have responsibility for boundaries, but this isn't usually a big deal - generally just a question of checking for dead branches periodically. And there are various grants available to help with things like improving access. Anyway, hope to see you over at swog. Good luck with your search.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
