Is their any benefit to greenmech blades being round over standard flat blades? What are they like in the real world chipping & maintenance?
Ive had both in my quadchip & prefer the square.
-
Ive been looking at trucks lately too & come to the same conclusion! Cant be any worse than what you are currently running?

Turns out the body isn't an Ingimex, its a VFS One Stop Tipper Body.....
Any help appreciated.....
Roywood transits have the cages as an option for their new tippers maybe worth a look.

Which one? I bet it was the single wheel one. Thats got a smaller engine
Brand new twin rear wheel 35.130 i couldn't get my foot off the clutch easily when i took it out for a drive.

I second that we have got a new grafter 150 it uses £20 of ad blue every 4 months, pulls like a train bumpy as hell, a few minor issues but nothing major.
What sort of issues have you had with yours?
-
We have an old one. Way better truck then our old transits and 3.5 Iveco's. IMO. But parts can be an issue.
Availability you mean? Is that because of the age of yours?

Any one got a new isuzu grafter?

Cabstar. Biggest payload, 3.5tonne towing ability, bullet proof. No master key available online unlike certain other makes! Been running them for 20 years or so now.
I don't fit in a cabstar, the dealer is only 5 minutes from me so would have been good. Took 1 for a test drive before Christmas & was disappointed with the lack of power.

A good Transit is a hard act to follow ( just my worthless opinion), have you considered another one ?
Bob
Ive got 2 09 transits on similar miles, 1 has been faultless the other has cost me a small fortune to keep going. The new shape ones have the worst pay load out of all 3.5ton tippers. Having said that the service ive had from ford has been second to none.

The time has come to start looking for a new tipper with decent towing capacity. Who has what? Good & bad points please!
-
I test drove a new one recently & was slightly disappointed with the lack of power & adjustment in the drivers seat.

People that are late every day with a different excuse but count down until home time!
Work shy & un organised people
People that run for the blower to avoid any raking up
People that argue about how to do a job instead of doing as they are asked!

Delta pressure washer is the one to have. Interpump with reduction gear box & honda engine.

Did you spray the area with weedkiller before?
-
Have you changed the fuel filter? Mine had similar symptoms & a new filter & software update solved it

I sent my st8 back for a refund & my old machine back after a fortnight with zero hours & several major issues.

Still looking!

Groundy required for days as when to cope with increased work load. Please PM rates & experience. Thanks in advance!

The machine we had on demo had a similar tendency to not want to pull stuff in to the point we battled to get a bit of conifer in to no avail so started the quadchip and just fed it in much to the surprise of the rep.
Not nearly as bad as your machine sounds but I was sadly very disappointed with its ability to pull stuff in aa was really expecting good thing after the truly awesome little quadchip.
Keep us posted how you get on...
Nice to know we wasn't the only ones disappointed when we demoed it after owning a quadchip!

Hi thinking of getting a micro digger with log grab for tight access sites eg standard garden gates, to take the strain off our backs.
We already have a Vermeer mini skid steer but it's too big to go though a standard gate.
I was looking at the TB 108 then a small grab
A few questions though.
Will this lift high enough to load an ifor trailer of transit
What sort of weight will it lift
Any one got any other machines they would recommend
Cheers
Im happy with my kubota u10, more stable that a micro but will still go down to 750mm to go through gates. I usually load my tcp tracked dumper with the digger then tip that onto the truck as that will carry 500kg. Mine will lift 250kg with out a problem.

thats what im after , what weight is the digger
Kubota U10 operating weight 1150kg

Struggling to find how the settings can be adjusted for the no stress system. Does anyone know?
You have to go through a sequence by holding different buttons on the control panel to change the settings. Give greenmech a call & they will talk you through it.

Ty's response pretty much sums my experience up with them too.
