  1. There are bargains any time of year if you look properly , eBay , freeads , gumtree , local rag , I picked a stunning arrow multifuel burner just before Christmas for £210 I'm well chuffed , as they have said buy a good quality 2nd hand instead , good luck .

  2. Microwave your potatoes for a few minutes until they start getting soft , after they have gone soft brush them in olive oil , butter or garlic butter , wrap them in a double layer of foil and place in the hot embers of the stove , turn them after 5 mins and take out after another 5 mins , result delicious jacket spuds in no time at all , another favourite of mine is warming up mince pies on top of the stove , the smell they create is lovely .

  3. I have recently started cooking on my stove

    Casseroles

    Rice pudding

Jacket potatoes done in 10 mins

I have one of them lecruset cast iron pots so most is cooked in there , so have any of you got any hints and tips or favourite recipes you would like to share ?

  4. I fitted a new stove today in my extension a nice little arrow , I fitted it through a ground floor extension with a flat roof , I also fitted one of those rubber roofs with a 50yr guarantee the job looks superb which I am very happy with , now for the awkward bit , for the last 3 days I have had a fire in an old oil drum which is 75% of my neighbours rubbish , any way this afternoon I had some friends around who wanted to paint my shed so we are out the back having a natter and my neighbour comes over bla bla you ain't having that fire lit at all ever , I asked why and apparently his son who never opens his bedroom window has now decided to start opening the window as is room is full of condensation plus he doesn't want my fire filling his house full of smoke I've done everything right according to building regs so I want to know where I stand legally also baring in mind the last 3 days with the bonfire going burning his rubbish not a word has been said , 99.9% of the time we get on great , cheers.

  5. You need your sky id for sky go and you can only have it on 2 devices I have it on my iPhone and my Xbox , on the Xbox which is in a different room you get an incredible amount of films etc but you have to sign up to Xbox live which is £40 a year and you have to have a very strong signal from your modem for it to work properly .
