Hi.
the belts should have no more than half an inch free movement if at proper tension. If they are shiny on the sides they will slip no matter how
tight they are. They are worth changing after a year or so as not expensive .
Fairly Simple to fit and tension.
your problem may well be different, the TW technician will be able to talk you through it over the phone when you have machine in front of you

Glazed or even slightly slack drive belts can cause no-stress not to function as normal.
we had a 190 for 7 years, only feeding problems were belts and wiring chewed by dog
