Hi. I wonder if someone can help me identfy which drive chain I need for my old Hayter 56. It is an old model with the drive coming from the side to a pully and then a belt to the real roller. It lost drive and when I investgated the drive chain appears so loose that it rides up the edge of the small cog and jams stopping the drive instantly. In doing so it has caused a couple of burrs on the teeth of that cog. My problem is identfying which chain I need. The label has long gone from the mower. All the chains advertised on line seem to have 40 links whereas mine only has 15. It is 7.5 in long when stretched as far as possible and the links are 3/8th wide. The only ID on the actual chain is the brand KMC. I am hopeful to be able to file the burrs off the cogs but possibly replace those also. Thanks in anticipation

Are you sure it isn't a 48, see images.

Yeh, it very much depends on what you're wanting out of a Forum.

If you want to browse, comment and post pics in threads the App was perfect.

Not a fan of having to go to a web browser and go to the forum on my phone at all.

Its generally the older generation that like to use websites I find.

You what, pardon, I heard that that, Uncle Mort, I didn't know you cared,

I know I know, it’s another ‘what foot spa?’ thread, so apologies for the inanity of it, but I’m stumped, and so is my wife who loves luggage and online shopping so you would have thought she’d have found something.

My dad had a lunch bag for years, canvas with buckles and a shoulder strap and a little compartment for a thermos to stay upright and the rest of it for his sarnies (wrapped in grease proof paper)

I’m trying to start a new regime of van tidiness and balls of silver paper that used to contain sandwiches and a thermos rolling around the floor are major irritants.

So a bag is needed, the thermos slot is the sticking point, and a dealbreaker.

    Anyone have the solution?

She is in the UK till Wednesday so could get it delivered and bring it back if we find one.

Here you are the proper thing.

Maybe, and maybe the worst case is to spend time thinking and arranging work at risk of making or losing a few quid, it's just a business vehicle and you are not in the business of motor trading.

When I bought my last trailer I just traded the old one in, could have sold it privately for more but considering time invested, tyre kickers, people I don't know poking round I just thought best get shot, deal done same day and move on.

Sound comment and advice here, your place won't end up robbed later!
