  1. Might be interested in some stumps suitable for woodturners. We get a lot of Yew down this way but there's some nice stuff over in Essex. What stuff do you have? Where on the Essex/Suffolk borders are you? Might be able to get to you this weekend.
  2. Steve, yes that's me. Hopefully we'll get a location from VII of Rigger Mortis soon. Can't do much without that. if local to Sudbury could pick up in the next day or so.
  3. Hi VII of Rigger Mortis, Do you still have those Yew stumps? If so whereabouts in Suffolk are you? I may be able to get them collected if you're not too far from Sudbury area. Ta
  4. Had my Stilhl MS210C taken from the garage last Thursday. Had ATS decals all over it, if you see it around. Police say unlikely to be retrieved but cannot fault the attention they gave to the incident.
  5. Hi, To answer a question in an earlier post on this thread, the going rate for a butt of monkey puzzle is around £20 to £25, although at the moment there's a glut of mp here in the south-east. Monkey appeals to a lot of turners but lathe sizes limit the market especially when you have butts around the 20" and upwards diameter.
