Could someone explain what class 1/2 means with regards splicing, also I have been watching the video in one of the posts of how to splice, does anyone have one for the whipping?

liam1 As you found out it was strong enough while your weight was pulling straight down but once you swung out away from the stem, the way the weight is distributed changes immensely. More or less acts like a lever. Glad to hear you are ok though, bet you dont do it again lol

Well if the bottom tracked bit works as well as the top (I use the untracked) then you will have no problems.

Not enough actual logging in the program. Too much mouthing off and repeating after the ads. If they took all that out probably 10 min tops of action. I still watch it though lol

Just run the saw up then hit the brake much safer that way the saw wont kick back on you. You should check the brake every day. I tend to let the saw slow down then apply the brake so it doesn't wear out as quick
