  1. Ok so it was confirmed by a third party. Thanks for replies. Interestingly, today, I found in the woods some Beech deadwood with KD, never seen it in the flesh before recently. I had a close look and took some pictures to share.. Oh and our resident arsonist will be happy to hear that I washed the car seat and burned my hands 😜
  2. Hi, I found this fungus on the decaying ripewood of a large Beech tree a few feet from the base, it looks a lot like Kretzschmaria deusta. What are your thoughts? Thanks
  3. Found this at the base of a Beech, is it Perenniporia fraxinea, Ganaderma sp. or something else?
  4. Possibly Cerioporus Squamosus, Dryads saddle because it looks though there is a stalk.
  5. I tried the high revs trick once, more vacuum just sucked more water up through the air intake, unluckily but luckily it only blew the head gasket. I'm now a steady and idle type, also helps to know where the air filter is located, that would be my main concern.
  6. Was is refused or withdrawn? I've seen similar in which tree work was applied for but the tree had no TPO, planning will show the records but not give a reason why it was withdrawn, in this case because there was no TPO. Just a thought
  7. First thoughts were Fistulina but then I discovered Buglossoporous when researching, maybe something else? On a declining Oak, near base of stem.
  8. (1) On Beech log (2,3,4,5,6) Tree of Heaven (7) Near Maple Tree (8) Near dead Cherry stump (9,10,11) On wound at base of Ash, growth over several weeks (12,13) On large collpased Poplar (14,15) In lower split stem of small Poplar.
