Where did this 'a lot of them' come from? I have seen one or maybe two. Mines been fine. Don't drop it after cutting with and clip it up. Not exactly difficult
You dont have to drop it for the clip to come out it only took a snag for mine to pop out plus if a cut goes wrong and you need to throw your saw it should be strong enough end of. This is tree work not college stuff.

BUGGERS YOU LOT!!!!
Me and a fellow tree surgeon are going to give it a crack see what we can do about it. We have been talking to a few dealers and managed to get some really good prices. Its still in the early stages as we need to get set up. But we do have stock and hopefully by the end of the month we will be up and running.
Due to an Injury i have had to give up tree work which has broke my heart. But i still want to be in it no matter what closest thing i could think of would be to trade in the products we use day in day out. I've always wanted to try and do something new we are looking at setting up a small shop in Grantham but delivering as well via our new E-commerce website. witch is under construction and there will be spelling mistakes and missed placed items on the site so put up with it for a while.
Any questions feel free to ask!!!!
Good luck mate im out the game soon due to bad back. Whats your injury?

What whipping twine is that rich?

Tried cutting friction hitch with a heat knife and it smokes alot and struggles to cut threw and tends to smoulder. Tape and blade does the job.

I respectfully disagree . I think he has got the class and the skill . What he does not have is a factory bike .
Spot on:thumbup:

I noticed this today too. Bit of wd40 and a cloth shifted it easy enough.
I'm on stihl hp ultra. I did try and look at pulling the exhaust off to look at how its built and if it can be opened up. But I couldn't see any easy to access screws. Still put a hole in anyway. Only a 5mm one. May widen it if I feel I need a bit more. Seems a bit happier to pick the chain up from idle. Although the H screw was already all the way anti clockwise it seems I can't richen it any more. So I won't be going nuts with this mod.
Do you have a picture of where you drilled the hole?

10-20 hours a month? Also for a climber on a temp basis with experience that is pony money.
