Hi, got a cedar of Lebanon tree to take down soon. Was wondering if anyone would be interested in the stem. The stem measures around 4foot at base and length of around 15foot. Will get exact measurements later today.

yes one reason for not getting a harvester in is the mines. Also only small timber needs staking. Large timber can be left where felled.

The pay cycle is every 2 weeks.

On this first site there is about 5000 tonnes of timber to be felled. The species and size of trees are mixed - all conifer though. As a cutter you will be paid per tonne you cut and stack. The first site is hopefully to be done in 6 weeks then another site is to be started which will most proberly be down south more.

The rate is £9 tonne for logs and bars, £13 for fencing and £6 for chip. The location is just down the road from Brierly along the A4136 on a forestry commisson site. As you get paid for what you cut down then you can do how every many days in the week you like to work around yourself. You will have to supply your own fuel.

you will get paid every 2 weeks and when your wood is extracted out of the woodland.

There is land to camp on which will only be a couple of quid a night. own tent required.
