Hi Ben,

sorry about the slow reply!

You do not need to do anything else apart from what you just said. If the saw is slow to pick up revs It is recommended that the low speed mixture is richened.

It is rare that big saws require any other changes unless the diaphragms have already been too damaged by the pump petrol which you have previously used. In which case we would recommend getting the carburettor overhauled.

Any technical issues please don't hesitate to contact Eddie on 07784 865275

Best regards

Hi Andy,
It's usually a standard fee of £20 for any amount. However I would have to check what the cost would e to Aberdeen as it's a bit further then usual.
Will check when I'm back in the office on monday.
Regarding retuning, you will probably not need to make any adjustments. If you do then you will need to richen it up by a little bit on the low speed.
Cheers

Hello there,
well done in the competition.
as for tuning tips, it really varies from saw to saw so the only thing you can really try is to put it in. most people find that it will run fine and others have found they need to adjust the low speed a little richer.
the ms200t is the only saw i have heard having problems with but i think its all down to getting the tune right aswel.
the worst thing which could happen is that the rubbers in the carb, could become faulty when you make the switch as they have been exposed to a lot of solvents in the regular fuel. this only happens on a small amount of saws but it is something to be aware of its only a small fix if it does.
any more questions feel free to ask, im sure the guys at the show who run Aspen have told you many good things about the fuel.

Hi Ian,
the legal issues are regarding the transportation of petrol in larger containers. I will look into this in more detail as the 25 litre cans is something we will consider in the future.
One concern with the 25 litre containers is that it is much more difficult to transfer the fuel into your machine without spillage. This is one of the benefits of the 5 litre cans aswel as being able to bring it with you easily if your working a fair distance from your vehicle.
we are moving our warehouse over the winter so we cant take on any new products until that is finished but different container sizes is definitely something we are keen to improve on.
what is your opinion on 50L drums?

Hi Ian
In sweden Aspen is also available in 25litre plastic containers, however this brings in some legal issues in the UK which we are looking into.
would this be a better option for you? price wise it would only be marginally cheaper, and chances of spilllage would be higher compared to a 5litre Aspen with a fillpartner attached.
Thanks
Axel
Currently we are only able to suppl

Hi Graham,
Couldn't help but notice your quote "When the last tree is cut, the last river poisoned and the last fish dead, we will discover that we can't eat money."
Are you aware of Aspen Alkylate petrol? If so be good to hear your comments, if not I can send you some details.
