  3. I was referring to just the National Grid job, not the WPD stuff. Although nowt is guaranteed except it needs cutting! Good luck to all you subbies...

    :blushing:

since we have had a new fleet of trucks at fountains (OCS)

thats good to hear, and we have started replacing our fleet of timber wolf chippers and a few greenmechs have arrived (good news for you)

  6. Hi Marc, I think it's highly likely it is the same people. There has been a spate of break in's of this nature around this part of the world in the last few weeks. It would appear that they hit an area then move on to the neighbouring counties. Luckily, only Stihl equipment went, not the chippers or trucks.

I hope your insurer sorted you out quickly.

not so lucky for us,i work for fountains (ross on wye yard)

i work the glos area,in the last month the yard has been hit twice, the last time 2 weeks ago, they had a chipper:blushing:

  7. Upon reading the book, the wild potato which he ate was actually deemed in his book safe to eat, however it was the algae which grew on the plant that made his body repulse food- leading to starvation.

I see him in two minds- I can't make up whether he was selfish for the way he treated his family or extremely brave for following his TRUE hearts desire, something not many of us would do, Bit of both perhaps.

agree with you there,he was having the time of his life, while his family were in bits

but he was committed and nothing or anyone could have changed his mind

  8. He was some fella eh?

    Great book as well.

sad way to go though mark, starve to death:crying:

since he was only going on a trial basis

should have paid more interest in the funa/flora before eating

  9. Any suggestions?
