  1. Hi All. We run a wood powered house and use around 20 tons of logs per annum (in an average year) Over the years we have bought cord and sawed and logged it ourselves, hired a processor, and also paid for it already logged. Now the question is, as we are getting older and slower and our free time to saw, chop and stack is becoming limited we are looking at getting these palleted crates of logs. These seem to be too expensive for us, can anyone come up with an economic solution for us ageing Kent dwelling wood lovers. We run a Rayburn and woodstoves to heat, cook and look at!! Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Haven't stopped cutting the stuff, still putting stripes in the lawn!! have been looking after gardens for nearly 40 years and have never known a year like it. Japanese anenomes, geraniums and lavender flowering in Jan.... MAD.
  3. Could be Malus 'Red Jade' Difficult without seeing it flower! Des
  4. Im in maidstone, need plenty of wood as all our heating, cooking and hot water is by Rayburn. we got through ten tons last winter! Have Landie and trailer or can arrange grab lorry. Always interested in timber depending on cost, as always. Des
