  2. alright my friend, merry christmas and a happy new year to you and yours, hope all is well and that times are prosperous. I hear druth won today, but I also hear they are coming down to meet up with Cambern in the leagues. I will call in to see you one day, well dreckley, you know how it is. All the best, Mank

  3. If you follow the facebook link at the bottom of any of my posts, there are several links to some horse loggers in the USA, worth looking at.

  4. She certainly is, Ardennes, hopefully she is now in foal to the stallion, I really want to keep her line going as she is a tremendous worker.

Anyway, if yer dad or uncle get any big jobs and they ever need a hand, let me know, I don't mind travelling for the work.

  5. Have you seen any of the threads that i have put up, some pictures of where i have been working.

  6. Not over busy, but as busy as I want to be sort of thing. I am felling and extracting for next years firewood, firewood orders are now coming in, and I've been breaking a stallion, who I reckon has taken a couple of years off me life, but he his coming good now, and will turn out to be a special one I think.

  7. Bloody hell thats a long time, I've only been at it for 5 yrs, where abouts are you, is most of your work thinning, softwood, hardwood, or anything you can get?

  8. How long have you been horse logging then?

  9. Ay up Ross, you there?

  10. Yes, she was but can save a lot of time, especially if it's a long haul to the deck, also very good for keeping large timber tidy. I see you use the Ulvins, a great bit of kit that is, I made one of my own, but no where near the same league as that. Anyway off to bed now, catch up with you again, all the best, Ralph

  11. No external jobs at the moment, but I keep myself busy in local woodlands where I fell and extract for my firewood business. Do you know Simon Lenihan?

  12. Hi Ross, (i'm presuming thats your name, saw Lindisfarnecharcoal mention it), it's nice to have another horse logger on board, do you have plenty of work on? Ralph

  13. Hi Katie, you wanted to join us for some horselogging, we will be working next Friday, 2nd of April at Jacksons Bank wood, which is on the A515, this road runs from Lichfield to the A50 at Sudbury, let me know if you can make it and i will give you more info, Ralph

  14. Did you go see Pirates yes'day, what a score, made my Xmas, they ran out of beer though half time, that was what made me think you might of been there.

  15. You off to Camborne today, ?
