  1. What a great band to see live. Lucky enough to see them on the Snakes and Arrows tour.
  2. It's a bit wet in The Yorkshire Dales at the moment!
  3. Tony Clarkin RIP. Used to listen to Magnum quite a lot back in the day.
  4. If they are Tubex you can take them to one of their recycling centres. Google Tubex recycling on internet for more information
  5. I've a sequoia, and agree, the bolts always seem like a weak point in a comfortable harness. Always felt a lot safer in the old Willans T22. Build quality was superb.
  6. Would love to have seen Rainbow and Sabbath with Dio on vocals.
  7. A few from my metal detecting finds. All hammered coins. Pre 1660 ish.
  8. Don't forget the pension benefits of being Limited. Especially if your nearing retirement age.
  9. Well, I've never heard of him to be honest. Seems quite blues based that particular song. Not quite my cup of tea, but I'm sure many people like it and I'm not going to knock it. Anyone who can appear on stage, singing and playing guitar is a proper musician in my eyes.
  10. Going back to the 60s. Love The Seekers. Oh, what a voice you were blessed with, Judith Durham.
  11. In my area I'd use rabbit spirals to protect against rabbits and voles. But, sometimes, it's better to just do as your asked!
  12. If it's in grass, I screef before I plant (removed sod with spade) I'd be further up towards a £1. But it depends on a number of the factors already mentioned, and of course how much you want to make from the job.
  13. What size trees your planting, and ground conditions (rocky, full of stones etc) I'd take both these into account before deciding a price. Personally, I think that price is a bit too low. It's probably a bit late this season, unless your planting cell grown etc
  14. I've a 2013 L200. About 80000 miles on the clock. Had it about 7 years now. Had a new diesel tank a couple of years ago, as old one was weeping. Apart from that it's been no trouble at all, except for the usual leaf springs, brakes etc. Engine never missed a beat
  15. Do a bit of detecting myself. You never know what your about to dig up. Glass and farmers syringes are the worst for me. Always wear gloves. However, did find a mortar bomb whilst tree planting at a quarry once. Smacked it with my spade and said to my mate, 'what do you think this is?' Oops, finished work early, quarry closed and bomb squad out.
