  4. Ive used gareth on a few site clearences too. He came on with tractor, PTO chipper and grain trailer. Great lad, really hard worker, got on great with the team. Cant fault him. Will definately use him again. Cheers Gareth:thumbup1:
  5. Don't have much experience with Kelsa but i run a trailer mount Botex its excellent. Build quality is good and Wilsons are spot on for parts and advice. Had my Botex 5 years and not has a problem with it. Big lifting power and well build. What more do you need. Wilsons have had some have decent Vatras in lately with refubed Botex on for very reasonable money, about £25k. You might be bale to pick up and Nseries and stick a referbed crane on to keep the cost down if thats an issue.
  6. Alright chaps Just dropping in a post about Gareth otherwise known as Tweedweller. Got into a bit of a jam and ran out of seasoned wood, or at lease dry enough to be sellable. Have used Gareth on site clearence work which he is spot on with and knew he supplied firewood too. He sorted me out a 16cub load for very reasonable money. Wood was well seasoned and I could get my deliveries out. Definately recomend this guy for supplying firewood for commercial sale. if your short on time to process or dont want to get involved in that side of it but want to sell it, Gareth is your man. drop a post or give him a call on 07702788870:thumbup:

  9. I Have recently bult a building to house my processed timber. I am finding that it is sweating and going moldy. will opening up the back of the buliding so air can pass through be enough to dry the timber out or should i layer pallets in between the firewood as well to aid air flow, say every 1ft in depth. Would like to hear what oothers are doing and what they have found to work the best. cheers Andy
