  1. safe drive, hope you get home safely.you and your fancy blackberry
  2. we pretty much have a deal in place if and when, but niether of us want to want any more finance. you are right about back up and service. hes a good lad our alex. better go. simpsons is on
  3. its the 8-400 that i would like, have spoke to alex about said machine. i would of bought one straight off the stand a couple of years ago, and signed the dotted line, but as my personal circumstances have changed aswell as the current market i am glad i didnt. i am going to do it the old fasioned way and just save up, unless i could get an outlet for good chip or a contract chipping.
  4. good stuff mate, i would like to get one more, but i dont know if that could be possible. I dont know how these things work even if you explained very slowly. keep us posted.
  5. or buy one of these with full air brake system and a big trailer built to rd spec. didnt know about the 20mph max speed though(not the landy)
  6. no bother, but back to the original "how much" 36k is what alex offered me on a trade in.
  7. mine has a full load of seasoned firewood in the back.hence its huge price tag.:001_tt1:
  8. behind the photographers back(about 15feet from the tree)was a delapidated victorian house.the builders couldnt knock it down, the planning are making them keep the outside and rip out the middle. the tree would be in the way of massive supports to hold the outside up thats what i was told. The so called tree surveyer said it was over 300 years old. i guessed 90. i read that there isnt a sequoia or redwood older 164 on scotland.
  9. i am glad my local constabulary arent as clued up as you what about a valmet with a 50k box?
  10. respect.thats not luck.look how he stands at the bottom watching. awesome.
  11. now i know.what if he drove really slowly:001_smile:
  12. your a wise man ed, they obviously want to use you ben when there are loads of us guys twiddling our thumbs.but if your subbies have been good to you and you can throw them a bone i am sure they will appreciate it.
  13. without winch.36k mate. a price put that on it for a private sale.
  14. i found that the machinery finds the work. i do loads of jobs for builders and gardeners now, its another string to the bow. its amazing where you can get into if it is going to save a bit of handballing. I used to use other folk for backhanders but you always had to work around them, or they would let you down. but i think working round the landrover will limit the crane idea. hey i could sell you a mog to go with my trailer.
  15. cant get that to play. what do i have to do. i need to see it.
  16. there was a guy at the highland show who had a small crane with power pack on a road trailer, i think he was at the apf as well. looked excellent. i tried to buy one off the stand 2 years ago but he wouldnt sell it because he couldnt get it to work properly. he had just got it imported a few days before, so he was honest enough to not just sell me it untill he had it checked out. it had barn doors and you could add bolsters. the only thing was the weight, but it was only a landy that could legally cover the load. it was about 4k. they were canadian. his enquiry book was like the yellow pages. maybe someone here has a contact.
  17. its having the bottle to shimy down while that bad boy is above you. i think its a bit like the axemen triple felling windblow. i wonder why so many loggers get hurt?
  18. you get a good sleep, caber tossing starts at noon
  19. hey dean, your old nemisis here. if you are after a basic trailer just for lifting stuff i made one up a few years ago, now surplus to requirements.
