  1. well said, i have only been a member for about a week.i need a new laptop, this one is about burnt out. My brain is lighter, just being able to unload all my questions theorys and opinions. think how lucky young Dak is, within 3 posts of a thread, he has been given a reference from buzz, to get himself some work. It took me 3 years to get a start with someone, and he was an idiot.then another 6 months gap then i got a job with a cowboy. if only i had a bit of guidance and honest advice from guys like you when i was 18. i got there in the end, but i made a lot of mistakes getting there. 3 cheers for steve bullman and a big pat on the back for all of you, some may say we are in for some rough times ahead, but when has this job ever been easy.head down and arse up.thats what i was told.all the best folks
  2. hi steve, i dont know how to get the utube stuff up on screen. maybe you can help.
  3. hi dave, the fabricator made it far too heavy. it is solid and well made but over engineered.

by the time i put on the chipper, it was too heavy for the mog. it will lift it no bother but i would have to add weights to the front. but i made it 2 yrs ago and since then i have bought a valmet roofmount.

it is a cracking crane, i was going to keep it and maybe use it for a firewood processor that you could self load.

but hey, i have enough stuff lying around.

i would take 3k for it, because that is what i need to clear the original loan on the shredder.

if you are close feel free to come for a look. i am in largs, 30 miles sw of glasgow.cheers

  23. hi there, i am selling some bits of kit just now and i have had some interest but speculate to accumulate is one thing but spending money just now is another.but i think most of us are all thinking what we can do to get some work, and having time on your hands does give you time to think. all our ideas crazy to some but genius to others will always differ either to market, location or general interest in chasing work down a particular rd. most of us i think will have pieces of kit lying about not getting used, for one reason or another why not swap it for something that you have always wanted to try but not to sure if it will be ideal. worse case senario is you have something of similar value not getting used. or is this just pipe dream to my ideal world. or is there already something in place i havent noticed?
  24. i pressume your report card at school used to say 'must try harder' i am not trying to sound un-appreciative go on give me something really good. my wife has been pregnant for 39 weeks, and it is going to be another 39 before i get a bit.
