  1. I’ve always worked with a 20m rope and the 35m would gather dust in the shed for the off day I’d be doing a 100footer and even then I would usually bottle it around 60ft and just bomb out the top! When I used to work 2 ropes on open hardwoods I’d have a long prusik on 1 for up and down and short on the other for positioning. I’d say once you’ve got experience you pick and choose what you’re taking once you see the tree.
  2. Morning folks! Kinda damp outside and pretty grey. Physio first then need to lift a dead branch off a plastic roofed gazebo after. Then it’s a day off.
  3. Business assets within 4 years and I think fuel for last 6 months. Expect a Vat inspection when you first register, they will keep you right. They are not out to get you. When I got mine back in 2001/2 they found another £1400 I missed.
  4. This mornings scrambled egg. Just 4 eggs, splash of milk and a wee bit butter chucked in on warm up. 8 minutes, job done!
  5. Morning, still in bed! Sleeping better, Stress levels have reduced and doing firewood today. Dry here.
  6. Has anyone else went down the Air fryer Ninja route? It’s changed my life! I’ve had it for about 6 months but it was almost getting used like a microwave. Now I’ve got the hang of it’s all I use, apart from soup. Microwave still does the can of soup in 2 minutes! today I had scrambled egg with mushrooms, 10 mins chucked it all in and came out like an omelette. For tea tonight I’d forgotten to take steaks out of the freezer. chucked in a frozen Rib eye, frozen scallops and a hand full of frozen chips. 10 mins! Job done! Best medium rare steak I’ve had in years!
  7. Morning, frosty here. Local garden cut back job for a friend today.
