  1. Hey there, this is my first post on this site. I'm a Tree climber from the U.S. and I'm heading to New Zealand from the end of November to middle of January and was wondering if I might be able to meet and watch some of you work while I'm there. I've been doing tree work for the last 8yrs and spike and spikeless climbing for the last four, chasing hurricanes and ice storms, lots of hazardous take down work. I'd be willing to work some too, but I'm not sure of your visa or certificate requirements. But, I really appreciate the opportunity to learn from professionals wherever I am. Also interested in recreational tree climbing while I'm there. Any info on where to go and what to do while down there would be appreciated. thanks

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
