  1. Where do I go for a **** round here?
  2. With you there mate. Pics please! a) Customer lying about the other quote b) Lot of firewood there, someone has worked out they could squeak a profit out of it. c) TDC you have the last 0 missing from your keyboard....
  3. Looks the nuts John. Couple of hi-lift jacks under the front of your chassis and you have a tipper as well! (Remember to chock your back wheels though!)

    Fight

Think the fight could be made. $120 million on the table?
  5. Shutler won't buy a pair because although he knows they are the nuts, he also knows that if he bought a pair one would wander off on it's own after a drunken night's camping and end up on the internet. On someone's knob.
  6. Butchered. Horrible. Tree crime. Enough about my day, that is nice work mate.
  7. Ditto. 260 is dogs**t IMO, great when new, doesn't wear well at all. Can't comment on current Husky 346, but my old 351 was a great saw.
  8. Same as 'leccy work. Walk away and leave it to the boys who are qualified to do it.

    NZ

Go Drew! Are Gumpy and Ross in? Taught them everything blah blah blah etc.
  10. No Frank. The groundie sorts the ladder out while you put your harness on. Mind you, 'ladder climbing record' doesn't have the same cachet, does it?
  11. Wow! Want a hand mate? I'm off that weekend! Good luck with it.
  12. Could have straight felled it an all....
  13. Oh, and I should have added thanks very much to everyone on here who has supported me and given advice throughout. This is beginning to sound like an Oscar acceptance speech! Seriously fellas, I appreciate it.
  14. I reckon he's a pro doing a cheeky little drive clearance on the way home from work. For a wad of cash from a bloke with a posh house and a flash car. Come on, we've all been there....
  15. Update - The bank were pure s***e and didn't even ask how much I wanted to borrow, or what it was for. It was just a capital NO. My dad offered to finance it for me so I could pay the monthly vig back to him. He was refused because noone wanted to finance a hydraulic woodchipper for a man in his seventies. Even though he owns his own house outright and has a top credit rating. He was told if he said it was for a car he would get it, but he's old school and wouldn't lie on principal. Now the good news. Thanks to my existing company who finance my truck, they listened, looked into it and agreed to a deal. So thanks to Richard and Andy at Close Asset Finance. Also a massive thanks to Barry Brown at Orange Plant for his huge amounts of patience and good humour throughout. I owe you a pint mate! After an epic road trip, I returned to Kent today from Cannock with a gleaming TW125. Result.
  16. Frank I love the way you always look for the good in people! Clearly the orange cap was to denote he was a Stihl rep. Doh! I'm so thick sometimes....
  17. Quick off the mark John! Cheers. Not much rootball on that sucker was there?
  18. Cracking shot today of a fallen tree being 'dealt with' in Essex. Bloke using a topper on the ground. It was OK though, because he was wearing full PPE. Well, he had an orange baseball cap on.
  19. Disappointed, Larry. Thought you'd be dressed in women's clothes for sure....
  20. Wattie, Great job mate. Dangerous, nasty looking tree on the ground safely mate, which is the point at the end of the day, or am I missing something? Was that a 43m Bronto you had there? If so, was Mick Gregory operating it? If so, remind him he owes me £20. Ta.
  21. Welcome to the dark side Stevie. I have ballooned by about a stone (good thing) and got rid of my tennis elbow since switching to a VT last year. I like climbing again. Not using a VT is a bit like saying I prefer a bow saw because I can't get the hang of this MS200T.....
  22. Wow Bro nice scenery! Looks like you've settled in OK......
  23. Good pics Steve and co. Bet Beranek was well impressed with tales of topping conny hedges and reducing Apple trees! Looks like a great show.
