  1. Stretch Air for me Lorry. You won't go back. Dave (CTS) summed it up, and the zip problem has been sorted apparently. The only problem is I think they are like rocking horse poo to get hold of at the mo. I found Hiflex comfy (but tight!), but exploded after exactly 4 months 2 days and 3 hours, or looking a Hawthorn in the face.
  2. Pregnant wife has gone to visit a friend with a new baby this evening, so I am looking forward to a bachelor style carefree existence for a few sweet hours. Proposed agenda; Arbtalk simmering nicely in the background throughout 1 bottle of Hardys Stamp of Australia Shiraz (already started) Mixed grill - 1 pork steak, 1 lamb steak, 2 rashers of farmhouse bacon, 2 free range eggs, oven chips (McCain Original) 6 bottles of Stella (chilled) Phonecalls to long lost friends and family at regular intervals 2 questions: When will I crack and blow you lot out for internet porn? How pleased will my wife be to see me when she gets in?
  3. Thanks mate. That's a brilliant tip. Apart from when it is wrong. Other than that, brilliant.
  4. At a country fair, we wandered over to see the East Kent foxhounds. My wifes younger sister got really excited and said; 'Oooooooohhhhhhhhhh - aren't the puppies lovely?' She was gutted when I pointed out they were,in fact, the Wye Beagle pack.
  5. Dave, any idea why such intense compaction had occurred from human traffic? Had Josh been meeting some of his young ladies there?
  6. Not too late mate. Noone has mounted twin harvester bars on the front of one yet.....
  7. Good laugh. Who was that flying up the tree footlocking?
  8. TBH I may get rid of mine, seeing as I'm overweight with a barely level load....
  9. BTW if you did take the wall down, good thinking. Dadio would have felled it with a jump cut over the wall.
  10. Mate of mine cut through a powerline whilst working on one of these. Luckily he was unharmed. Apparently he was a poor conductor. Boom boom!
  11. Apparently stops them flapping at speed. Mine are rectangular, and don't flap at speed.... Looks more aerodynamic, mind. Maybe if I did mine I could get 60 mpg out of the Tranny?
  12. Seen one knocking around Ashford in Kent. It was possibly Keith Taits boys using it? Far quicker than a MEWP Josh, zero set up time. If you were quick enough you wouldn't even have to stop! Make sure you've got your tickets though. I'll get my coat.......
  13. How so Hadders? The bridge is attached to these rings after all. You've just shot my new idea down in flames you git!
  14. Bucking is crosscutting. Much quieter at half revs. Lorry, I've tried bucking at half revs, but always end up at full revs just before the end of the job!
  15. You lot are all backward not knowing that. If you make a sawing motion during cutting you can drop the revs even more.
  16. Godammit Spencer you're a genius! For some reason I've always thought that the gold rings were not meant to be tied into. What a plum, no reason not to at all. Quick dash outside to the truck to grab harness and side strop, just had a swing off my punch bag hook - well comfy! I'll use that for the odd occasion I have to hang with all my weight on my lanyard. Cheers. I'll get some quick draws anyway. I like to have as much gear as possible on my harness when I wear it to the pub after work.
  17. What stops the quickdraws slipping over the shackles and ending up in the centre of the bridge? And thanks Rob, are you sure you don't want to give them another bash?
  18. And an HTC is not an iPhone. iPhone is the best.
  19. What was the problem Rob? I fancy giving that mod a bash, and I rock a Sequoia as well.
  20. Ditto Josh, but go for the Husky 346. The Stihl 260 is a gutless piece of crap IMO, soon to be replaced by the 261.
  21. Yes Charlie, but it's not an iPhone......

    iPhone4

Contains strong language, but tickled me.[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FL7yD-0pqZg]YouTube - iPhone4 vs HTC Evo[/ame]
  23. Errrrrrrrm....... There's a cherry plum at my Dads that I utterly refuse to take down because I can remember all the planks we nailed up there to make tree houses. I remember when I was very young hammering 6" nails into the butt as steps so my little bro could climb up. We knew if Dad saw them he'd go mental, so we hammered them in flush.
