  1. Great find Xerxses. Loved watching it. Inserting Rollotube whilst still cutting with the other hand? Don't try this at home kids!
  2. I could have written this myself mate! The best measure is - do your customers come back for more?
  3. Should still be where we left it in the wood! I'll try and get some shots if I work up there next year. It was bramble city last time I went there. As for selling it - it wasn't exactly great quality wood!
  4. Excellent slinging at 4.30 James. Almost Reg-like in its smoothness!
  5. Just looked at the pics again. Looks like an Ian to me.
  6. Bring it on Matt. I would be quids in with my dripping wet unseasoned shite....
  7. Ditto Tone. Although you did well to get out there on that skinny left-over canopy.
  8. That's what I was getting at Matt. As long as you don't tell your customers they are getting a cubic metre of 'logs', there is no problem. I wasn't having a dig Paul. It's certainly better than quoting a price for 'a load'! We cut an exact cubic metre (square) from an Oak butt once. It occupied frighteningly little space! (Even when you think you know what a m3 looks like).
  9. Smashing little dog. Nigel? Unique name for a Springer. Quercus, on the arb theme.
  10. What if you had the brains to tell your customers that the logs they get will fill a certain specified dimension when thrown in loose? Hope there were no gaps when you stacked your neat little cubic metre.
  11. Taking too long to load for me this time of night. I hope it is exclusive footage of Chris nutting Mike Ashley. We are a laughing stock. Robson, Gullit, Roeder, Allardyce and now Chris. The job is becoming a poisoned chalice. Makes me ashamed.
  12. It does Lee. It's also spot on!
  13. Joking aside Ady, they do look good. Wish I had cold feet now!
  14. Speak for yourself Cornishman - most people have only got one pair. I did warn you about inbreeding with mermaids....
  15. Straight up mate! Just Google 'heated socks'.
  16. Doesn't count mate. I heard you were sat in the boardroom with Ashley all day with the heating turned up to 35.
  17. Same here, but with hands. Left is worse than right. It does sound like Raynauds Syndrome, which is a circulation problem. If it's really bad, you can get battery powered heated socks. I would buy some, but my feet are always toasty running away from people wanting logs for '£50 a load because that's what Old Tom used to charge'.
  18. I've found it seasons well when stored in a barn or similar. Does tend to go a bit pulpy if left outside too long. Currently cutting kindling from 12 month barn-stored pop, and it burns really well, if a little on the fast side, as said.
  19. £150, but say you will throw in a free lumberjack shirt so he looks the part when he's playing around with his Spear & Jackson chainsaw.
  20. Good stuff Mr Schmidt. Lukas head looks Damn cold though. He should grow some hair. I wouldn't trust Mani not to eat that hitchclimber....
