Joking aside Woody, syringing is a massive relief sometimes - I honestly thought I was going properly deaf before I had mine done. Suffer mildly, result of shooting without decent muffs and listening to live metal bands in the '80's. Still drive past young lads using Jacks etc. without muffs nearly every day. Butler beat me to my first answer!

I've no problem with anyone making money, but why blatantly lie about it? When they did announce the toll was staying (when it was still a quid), they said if it was free too many people would use it. Right. The people who currently travel 125miles round the M25 or spend their lives sat in a queue through Blackwall? It is well maintained, though, and a great feat of engineering. It's the lying I can't stand. Never liked liars since Lindsay Bell said she'd love me forever then dumped me for Nick Mulholland at a school camp in 1982.

Huge derail X, but a great one! Is that the helmet you can order personalised with your company/name? I'm thinking 'CREW CHIEF BOLAM'? Or I may just save some space and go with 'TOSSER'. It's a tough one. -

How is it reasonable when it is a matter of very public record that the tolls were there to pay for the construction costs only, then crossing would be free? The BS reasons they came up with for keeping the tolls were unbelievable. Look it up.

Finally, you get the picture. We felled it, then took a branch off using a rope, then felled a big vertical branch out the top of it. How come this kind of crap doesn't happen to Reg? I hate Youtube.
