    Gas pipe

That's what I thought Steve. I would query it if you get a bill Hodge.
  2. I don't understand this thread. Anyone got any trees that need a good topping?
  3. Agreed. Goes against the grain a bit for me. Have to make do with claybusting (or not!) for a few months.
  4. Of course I know it's safe, but I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks like this. Funny how a long, long way up a dodgy tree in the wind you start looking at all the flimsy little bits of tat that your life is hanging off!
  5. Sweet stuff there Reg. All you need now is a retractable lanyard and your set-up will be complete!
  6. Thanks Joe. I hope Reg is reading this!
  7. Welcome Joe. Is that some kind of self-coiling pack for your lanyard on the back of your harness? I'm well interested in that! Not having 3m of lanyard coiling round my legs may make my life a little easier at times!
  8. Bad idea that Robert. I got as far as reaching under the bed then got sidetracked by a big stash of old porn....
  9. Oh well. At least he went to a Northumbrian college. Someone on passport control must have had a nightmare. I've just watched that Harris vid again. Far from tempting me to buy a Spiderjack it's made me realise how much I'm better at being a groundy than climber!
  10. It's a 260. They eat every part of the chainbrake mechanism for breakfast. Awful saw for this defect. Sorry, not very helpful.
  11. That was my first plan mate! Jess, thanks for the call mate, hope to see you you at one of this years shows. Good luck with no. 2 buddy!
  12. Sounds like operator error rather than carabiner failure to me. Prove me wrong by explaining what happened properly and providing pics.
  13. Talk to Ross, Mick. He knows a good stump man from Whitstable.
  14. As Taoupatreeman said, primer bulb on a climbing saw + jaggy connies etc. may not be a great idea. Especially for the lads and lasses that like a tab when up aloft!
  15. Very interested in this Ian. Been thinking of having my '06 (old shape) 115 remapped simply to improve fuel economy. It carries chip and pulls my small TW easy enough, but I only average about 27mpg, and drive like a grandad. Looking forward to hearing your findings.
  16. How come he doesn't speak Scottish then?
  17. Turnbull = Pure Northumbrian Class!
  18. What is the Gump climbing on at the mo Ross? For work and comp?

    Beech help

How did that Sycamore job with the powerlines go? Feedback makes a forum!
  20. Good bloke and mate of mine. Remind him he's still got my old Buckingham spikes. He's probably weighed them in for scrap! Say hi from me, he'll know me as Bill.
  21. Know what you mean Dodger, I'd be screaming 'Slow down, I've got £600 on this!'
  22. Are you going to be working with Ian Lee mate?
  23. Damn Charlie, you are so selfish. Walking is really good for older kids!
