  1. I'm not a fan of hopper sitting really because I don't want people putting their arses on my brew station.
  2. It's a game changer Mick, even if you only use it for access on bigger stuff.
  3. Hahahahahaha! I'd stick your Protos lid on if I were you Banister Lad!
  4. I got mine from Woodsmithexperience, who are one of the best companies I've ever dealt with, but Greenwoods maybe carry more stock. Google them.
  5. Wise words Andy, but when you need the maul, you need the maul! I ended up with both. Certainly not cheap, but tools for life never are.
  6. Did the lad on the left drink all the wine? Which one is Ty/Stu? I'm guessing the dude with the cool sideboards.
  7. I'm the same Eggs. I blame the weather.
  8. You should be more careful, I thought you were good at this stuff? Rips are really, really scary. I was dicking about near Sydney one day with five mates in water literally knee deep and we had to get serious and sensible to get out. We had beers with the lifeguards after the beach closed (who'd seen us) and some of the stories were pretty tragic.
  9. Hahaha! I've been in a few pickles, but I've always weirdly thought about damage to property rather than myself as it happens. Saw, wire, shed, fence whatever. The most dangerous part of your day is driving to and from work, we should all remember that.
  10. Go for it mate, but have a plan B. A climbers useful commercial lifespan is pretty short, and at 38 you're cutting it fine. Most climbers making good coin after 40 are incredibly gifted or a pretty rare breed, often both. The two trades you've done are pretty hard graft though, so that's a bonus, if your back and elbows are sound. I like your stance about the money, but it matters to everyone else, which means it matters to you.
  11. If I owned a private woodland, and put up signs that couldn't be missed, with Braille and translations and stuff which read - 'Private - I will kill anyone who enters with an axe and sodomise their corpse.' Could people really still argue if little Dwayne got hit by a falling conker?
  12. Huck you are still alive, and you would never admit to being wrong on Arbtalk.
  13. Can't help you at all mate, never even visited, but it's one of those places I've always had a hankering to go to. Some builder mates worked in Guernsey for a bit and loved it.
  14. Can we have a Karaoke section? There's a big lack of music on Arbtalk, although I've discovered some cracking bands people have used in soundtracks to their vids over the years.
  15. The Bandit was a flywheel wasn't it? I may be wrong. I don't think a rope was involved here, I think his harness snagged on something. Operator error, glad he made it. When did you think you were going to die Reg? Was it at the Arb show when you launched the RC lowering devices? I thought you looked about ready to end it all after enduring two days of questions from people like me.😁
  16. Top felling Sned, big tree Joe, the saw planted on the stem on the aerial shot shows how well it carried the girth. Where were the elms Andy? Any DED?

Is that a Hiab on it as well?

I think James is suggesting the payload would be even less than before the modifications Huck. Thank God for helium filled tyres eh?
