  1. Everyone thinks it's about the machine. No one ever talks about the operators training or much more importantly, experience. See Peters pics? I'd have jumped that ditch, and half the fence on the other side. Whilst trying to get UP the bank. Skilled machine operation makes saw work look easy IMO.
  2. I got going on an 18/100. Good machine. The CS100 seems better to me though, in manoeuvrability and drum feed. However, I quickly realised the chipper was the bottleneck, and took the big step of getting a TW125 on finance. The first day I used it, on conny, we finished at 11.30. I had a days money on the job. Do the maths. A big Bandit wouldn't have been any quicker, because the bottleneck then became how quickly the groundie could drag limbs down a side alley. The trick is to choose the chipper that best suits your business model. In truth, if you're running at 3.5t, anything over a 150 or equivalent is probably taking the piss out of VOSA and the law. Barn doors and beefy springs don't make you exempt.😇
  3. You're a GOOD LAD SHANE HONDA MAKE THE BEST FOOT SPA!!! All the best, CIZZER, etc, etc....
  4. That's what I meant! Better luck next time Shane. How much is a new one, £1kish?
  5. Don't feel sorry for them, they only ever work for me for one day.
  6. Radius schmadius. If you had 3 you could do 3 massive pieces at the same time, obviously.
  7. Don't forget rigging off massive lumps as a cheapo X-ring as well Jake.
  8. I want a bag like the one Billy King first rocked up with with all his gear and saws in.
  9. Can you not sort the training out in Tenerife or somewhere? Then everyone's a winner!
  10. You mean on a £300 job you tell them it's £600, but £300 if they keep the chip?😀
  11. Is that with a crap and a sling for a static redirect Jesse?
  12. I wouldn't use a sling and a crap though Joe, that gets real messy.
  13. Of course. The Johnny has been washed loads of times.
  14. Mine has a can of Red Bull, spare juice for my vaper, and a Johnny in case I meet a girl climber.
  15. That would be my thinking, but don't send me a bill if I'm wrong!
  16. I can force mine in (fnarr fnarr), but there is inevitably a petrol explosion when it doesn't disengage.

Great stuff Reg, you know I was only joshin' about the litter. That packing in sounds like tough work, I'm surprised they do it when there's still snow on the ground. What are the digs like?
  18. I never knew my wife was made by Rentokil. Every day's a schoolday on the Talk!
