  1. Mike, have a closer look at my pic! Very kind offer though, ta. A few of my mates did it, I'll show them your piece. I think it would be a cracking addition to their medals.
  2. Ditto what Rob said, although I feel a bit sorry for the seller.
  3. I always look forward to deadwooding big hardwoods. I have no idea why. It's usually bloody hard work, tons of climbing and there's always far more than you think. Like you, I normally feel like I've been beaten afterwards.
  4. Thought leaf springs were king-cab only?
  5. Nice one Geoff. I'll file that one away for future reference.
  6. What Paul is trying to say is if you break something, hide the rigging gear.
  7. Did you heli in? How much fuel did you take up with you? That's crazy stuff, you'd need oxygen to go much higher I reckon.
  8. Vespasian you're making some quite serious accusations here. Yes, the trailers return is mysterious, but you can't go gobbing off about insurance scams etc. without a scrap of proof. Well, you can, obviously, but you probably shouldn't. You wouldn't do it in a pub, would you?
  9. Sweet stuff Sam. Loved the traverse. Stick that in your Ddrt pipe and smoke it Steve!
  10. Awkward tree Ben, nicely rigged. Standing on those lines would give me the shats though!
  11. They'd probably overpriced a job Steve, and needed to slow down a bit.
  12. Rather you than me Riggerbear! Well done lads. Good shots Timon, thanks for putting them up.
  13. Steve what are you using for SRT at the minute?
  14. People giving work to idiots happens in every trade I guess. I've noticed an increase in really poor tree work round here, both truly horrific butchery and nicely shaped reductions obviously carried out by fairly skilled climbers, but with utterly no knowledge of tree biology or future implications.
  15. That is whole new level stuff Andrew, right there.
  16. Dodgy fell Matty. You just missed that farmer in his tractor with the oak.
  17. Bet your lads had a good day Andrew. Did you spot Felix in his XXXL wolf fleece (probably covered in fine food)? Gutted I'm missing it. I'd usually be trying to pitch my tent about now after drinking 10 of Newton's Stella's.
  18. What boots is it wearing Peasgood?
  19. Pics please Ian. And please direct Rich and John Shutler to the stand in question.
  20. I keep trying to convince myself I need a super/king cab tipper, but chip capacity is too limited. Running one as well as the Transit would tick a lot of boxes, but at a price. The Transit is the best single vehicle that suits my business model. Or maybe I've built my business model around the vehicle?
