  1. Most of the ones I've seen do it had Dunlop Green Flash on?
  2. Slumming it there Will. If you shout loud enough my mam will bring you a brew out. Have you got a rescue line?
  3. That looks great but I'm bloody jinxed when I'm digging holes. Would it neatly pile up all the met-posts, concrete, bricks, tree roots, angle iron and membrane on the spoil heap?
  4. Kielder and Wark forests used to have loads of lookout towers, I remember climbing them with Hutch when we were kids. Are any still there?
  5. Imagine if it went up near Stonehaugh Matty? They'd have to shut the windows in the Social and everything.
  6. Just to be the man who walked a thousand miles to fall down at your door!
  7. Cheers fellas, good enough for me.
  8. She's happy with Hornbeam, I just wondered about delaying till autumn.
  9. Good evening. I have been given provisional permission to fell some trees (poorly, overstood ash coppice) in a garden which is covered by a blanket TPO. The TO wants to know what is being planted, and when. We've already verbally agreed on a native hedge back on the boundary, which is about 20m long. The customer is thinking 60cm hornbeam whips at 2/3 per metre, but I've advised planting no earlier than October. Will this be acceptable to the TO? Can't fell till replanting scheme is accepted. Any thoughts welcome.
  10. Not the best tree for it Mr. Git, by any means, but did the owner think about leaving it as a low pollard, once a straight fell was discounted, to help bank stabilisation at all? It would probably never have flushed but might have bought a year or two. Canny root system there.
  11. Will you chuck the steaks in or lower them?
  12. Bugger. I'll have to hit the weights again.
  13. Fair mileage there Steve. What boots do you wear? I'm jealous, I'm still on crutches.
  14. Classic memory that! I still refer to any wide wheels as Carlos Fandangos.
  15. You are missing a ball-gag mate.
  16. I don't like to talk about that one Joe. We all get the wrong tree sometimes.
  17. I fell everything in one. Or free fall everything. Or cut and chuck everything. Or rig everything. Or cut and chuck some and rig some. Or free fall some and rig some, or cut and chuck it. It all depends on my mood, really.
  18. I expect eBay will be really concerned about this, not. Scum.
  19. I'd do it, no problem. I get on fine with most of my pro competitors.
