  1. Looks a cracker mate! I'd watch those boots mind....
  2. There appears to be a natural crown just below the union? I'd go for reducing it to there, then the logistics of doing that would get on my tits and I'd fell it.
  3. Haha, their scrap doesn't last overnight mate! I was talking about the 4x4 thing!
  4. You could probably flog it to Newton David, he's quite weak.
  5. Can you pop down and give me a price? I'll stock the fridge....
  6. Thanks mate, much cheaper than I thought. I might just go for a cover and frame and do it in one hit, like Dan first suggested. But where's the fun in that?
  7. I'll let you know in the morning Steve....
  8. Don't talk crazy Goaty, I live in Kent.
  9. I could pick some up from the Payne Brothers at Peasmarsh down here in the Tranny. Quick trip up north to pick up Matty Fathers and Tom Dixon as relief drivers, and we could get a ferry from Newcastle to Norway, then head on to you. Do you want me to sort out some provisional costings?
  10. Pics please mate! I really felt for you with the situation with your last dog, such a shame.
  11. I will do in time Dan, but the frame has been mackled onto an 8' deep shaft, and I'm after a quick fix before one of my kids falls down it. Or my wife gets pushed.
  12. My mate parked his Hilux on the crappy lightweight ali cover in one on my parking bays and dropped a wheel into it. It's a poor design over the shaft for a pumping station. The equally weak flanged recess for it is fubar'd as well. My plan is to get an oversize steel plate made up with flanges that just fit in the recess to stop it sliding about. The recess is 600x600 (Stubby, Al, Bob, Johny that's 2 ft x 2ft). How much overlap should I go for, and what thickness steel? Not that I would, but I'd need to park the rear wheels of a loaded 3.5 tonner on there in case I've had a few. Thanks in advance.
  13. Did you check what she was like first?
  14. They're easy Will, with a mattock and spade, but hellish messy.
  15. I enquired about these bits years ago on here after seeing some amazing pieces by a company called 'Rack & Ruin' at a Game Fair. What sort of drill would you need? Pillar drill isn't an option for me until I retire in 2089.
  16. Oh, I'm not fussy. My machine has a fluid leak at the minute, probably out of any heavy work for another 3 days.
  17. I wish Al! My 35 stone target weight is a dream at the minute!
  18. You shouldn't be cutting down Pampas Grass anyway. In these current depressing times of terrorism, BREXIT, alcohol awareness, unchecked rural crime and reality TV, wife-swapping is one of the few pleasures we have left.
  19. I've done it through a TW 150 and wouldn't do it again. It can wrap round the roller spindles quite easily, and is nothing but a PITA. Get your big stamping boots on.
  20. 😂😂😂😂😂 I'd forgotten just how well observed that sketch was! I'm only jealous. I spent my gap yah labouring on building sites in Northumberland. I did chunder everywar after being on the lash a few times, like!
  21. Rupe if you alternate the tether between right and left it balances your OCD out.
