  1. Said goodbye to my Son and given him the Silky...he's an expert with one...like me:) said goodbye to the City...and had an interesting conversation with a bloke who specialises in re enactments of famous battles...he had a six foot hickory bow and several Ash arrows...one designed to clip the wing of a bitd...and a fire cage which carried glowing embers...several swords...my personal favourite...the billhook and a bollock dagger which the man explained was useful when finnishing of an enemy...rather than struggling to remove the helmet..simply stab through the eye slit:thumbup:
  2. It's a GoPro Hero2 Jon and was given to me to use for as long as I want by an Arbtalker...
  3. Thanks Mr Gerbutt....got him on GoPro aswell....just uploading now.
  4. Last day in Durham.Woke up early (as always) to very warm sunny weather...I have been taming a robin that comes into the garden every time I whistle...he comes right up to me:) cleaned my silky so it's at optimum condition for cutting as I am going to leave it for my Son.
  5. i do like the way you put your videos together...Raw and to the point...smooth saw work and great controlled rigging. Love the view!
  6. Jon here is a picture of my sister... (on the left) she is half Jamaican...and like me she was adopted as a baby...she now has a very succesful beauty buisness in Newcastle and has 4 kids:) hope you like the picture:rolleyes: the girl on the right is her half sister.....
  7. No Jon.....its a couple from eastern europe who want me to do some tree work for them:thumbup:
  8. One more night in Durham...just down the hill to "ye old Elm tree tree" where me Son manages on an evening...sitting outside staring at the cobbles and daydream... clutching a lovely pint of Hobgoblin as i smile inside at the memories of probably the best holiday i've had in years:):)CHEERS ARBTALKLAND!
  9. That's the way to do it...I used to drive a Massey with a forest grab on the front and a large Marston trailer on the back...by the way...you could keep adding to your original Cedar thread you know mate;) instead of starting a new one for each picture...like a story.....
  10. A braking system would indeed be a nice addition Mike:thumbup:when loaded up going down hill you need strong wrists to stop it!....Pimp my trolley....I like it...lets start a thread and get the pictures coming in:D
  11. I have to say that having used an Arbortrolly many times...they pay themselves back very quickly and are far more useful and capable than a wheelbarrow:thumbup::thumbup: I have loaded them up to the max of 500kg and still been able to pull it with one hand....every company should have one:)
  12. Break time.......a bit of pond investigating...a lesson In Silky use....and a look at some trees.
  13. It's a beatiful day outside!....but I've had enough fresh air over the last few days and because I'm entertaining my Nephew its time to stare at the screen for a couple of hours and shoot stuff:D

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
