  4. Just arrived....it's Besutiful Ian...I love it!:) I shall put it somewhere pride of place in my new home in the North... and can I reccomend Ian Leach's work to anyone on Arbtalk...it's quality and the finnish is SUPERB!

  8. Sorting through my stuff ready to leave London....and move back to England:rolleyes: found some pictures of the band I was in during the Eightees...named after a T.V show from 1967 "man in a suitcase"...we played psycadelic jazz-funk.... I was on Bass guitar (later fretless bass)

Update.....after work I had a private job...very untidy garden to tame...lawn hadn't seen a mower I weeks...4 cuts later...then a hedge cut (with a black and decker...strange pieceof kit as i'm used to stihl HS 85...but still got the job done...took 6 hours...asked for £60...got a £40 tip!!!...then out of the blue got a random text off AHAP.. (alex Purser off Arbtalk) would I like to meet as he was near Kew...great lad..climbed with him and wolfie and Dexta a few months earlier...enjoyed a pint of Magnus at the Botanist....great to catchup with you mate!...see you up north......Karma rules!:)

I have never been busier!...my phone hasn't stopped ringing since I announced to the locsls at Kew village that I was leaving...I have tree and garden work every day up until I leave:) so even after a full on 8 hour dsy in 30 plus degrees I then have 4 hours of my own...tuesday evening I packed my bike with climbing kit (including ZigZag of which I have total confidence especislly with my low impact climbing style on small trees like this)... removal of encroaching branches (tipping back to boundary line) as requested by the homeowner...all done with the Silky/sawpod combo...I love silent tree surgery:thumbup:
  16. The temperature soared here today...rehydrated constantly but there was something missing.....until I spotted this standpipe....and once it hit 12.o'clock!:thumbup: on my way back to Kew after the hottest day of the year.....
