Went for full English (informal buisness meeting:rolleyes:)....got the 4x4 measured for signs then went to North East IVECO....then dropped the truck off to get it's ladder-rack fitted....jumped in the pick up to take the TShirts to organise printing logo's....names on em.....set up a Facebook site............returned for the Iveco looking amazing with its latest fitting:cool::cool: eveything on the list done! We dont mess around! great day for the Dream Team!
  2. Very productive day indeed:thumbup: Gustharts...brilliant store..heplful staff...ordered the ppe picked up some stein T Shirts.....went to orange Plant...again, great lads:cool:

  5. I hit all my targets within a few shots(if not the first) using "the slug".....stein cube....and liros "magic speed" line.....perfect combo for branch fishing:D

Thanks Wisewood.i do admire people who think outside the box where cycling is concerned:thumbup: he is "The Human Forwarder!"....well, 4.30 a.m seems to be the magic time for me these mornings...I wake up feeling positive about life and want to make the most of a long day:) if Carlsberg made days...then yesterday was it...got to my pick up point bang on time where Chris arrived seconds later with a smile and a breakdown of what was happening that morning...he introduced me to one if his climbers as "the new Chargehand".....I've waited a few years now to have my potential recognised and he has...so he will get 110% ..every day...all day:thumbup: ...he asked if he could leave the site with me and go off sort stuff out...Way Aye! I said....do what you need to do:cool: on his return we were well into the job....customer was happy. The Boss was able to get Monday morning stuff done and we were rewarded with Bacon Butties and devonshire splits! its not rocket science to run a tight ship...just good communication, teamwork and positive enthusiasm! Off for a bike ride as I have the hilux to get to work in (although today I am being introduced to the Team a GUSTHART'S) Bring on the day! GEORDIE POWER!!!:rolleyes::D

  9. Northumberland is a beautiful place Jon...the Romans liked it so much here...that they built a garden wall.

I'm unbreakable Mr Git:p...yeah its good to be back in the Beautiful North...I'm still in Shock that I stayed in London for so long:confused: na Chris...no birds singing there...only Mrs Fox:D:D:rolleyes: today we worked like a finely tuned unit! Well...what d'ya expect from 3 Northern Tree Monkeys!:thumbup: early finnish....and as I am still travelling from Durham to Newcastle...Chris has provided me with a company vehicle:cool: and even helped me look for accomodation near the yard ( almost half the monthly rent I was paying down South!) Found a couple of places to try for....one even had a pool:D....only down side of the dsy was ending up in a massive tailback on the way home so had to divert over the hills toward Consett...the scenery was stunning including another of my favourite things....Wind turbines:cool:
  12. GUSTHARTS....SKYLAND....HONEY BROTHERS.....FRJONES 13 mm xtc plus is a nice starter rope. Or Thinner Tachyon or my favourite, 11.7 mm Yale "blue tongue" (light....highly visable and feels great in the hand:cool)
  13. First day of my new job....peaceful start to the day....silent...just the birds starting to sing....cool breeze.

  21. Thanks Alex.....escape is the right word...whatever posessed me to give up here...for there!! I have always been ruled by my heart especially where women are concerned:rolleyes: from now on my head will make my judgements for me:thumbup:Just enjoyed my first bike ride in Durham for over 6 years!...was able to go up to the top of a hill and look over the City...forgot how Green and lush the place was......

Cheers Clive....no doubt our paths will cross again one day. okay...Chapter one is over and so begins the new one..it poured down all night.i slept with the window open it was such a nice sound to wake up to. The trees and other green things needed it.several more days of it would be ideal...in a couple of hours I'm off to Newcastle to meet a man about a job;)
