Almost a year ago, all I had was a single pound coin in my pocket and my bicycle.i feel like the Richest man today as I cycle through Durham City and down by the river to the old Hospital which dates from 1116.....we also have modern developments here by the river as well as our very own microbrewery;)
  2. You have my deepest sympathy...I left mine for 15 years! (Don't ask)...waddled around like a duck for a couple of weeks after the opperation...took a whole year to fully recover. 5 years down the line I hardly remember the pain, discomfort etc.. I suffered for so long. The opperation changed my life:)

  11. I'll rewind to this morning's drive to work past the Angel of the North...

Yeah bro! we work very well together...its all about hard work....as a team...it not rocket science:rolleyes: yes Jon, the ammo box contains bullets, c.s spray and a Tazer;)....and a sharpening kit. Gustarts is ideally located next to a farm shop and Big Chris bought some luxury figs:)...and the next customer provided us with ice creams..friendliness is a very Northern thing....Chris tried my Gecko allys yesterday and couldn't residt buying the Carbon ones...a true magpie Ay lad?...meet Buster Arbtalkers...our mascot:cool:.....the company vehicle has made travelling to HQ in Northumbria a pleasure and I cant fault it...hi lix invicible is a great motor...perfect for cruising around the country lanes with the hills..forest...woodland of the North East:):)
  13. Stop off at Gustharts..our local friendly shop of shiney things! lots and lits of Nakanoto's and a nice new harness from "Singing Rock".
  14. Left the hills of Hadrian's wall country for first job in Whitley bay.....sitting high up in the cab you get a perfect view of the bottom feeders:rolleyes: 24 forward gears and 4 reverse! Its a very capable Arb truck....wait till we get the back seats out and the shelves and lockers fitted:)

Well Jon....as you know...I was up at 4 a.m and enjoyed a sunrise bike ride....after a refreshing morning shower I grabbed some salad from Tedco's and drove to Northumberland where I found the Boss in his workshop...he had preoared the chipper and saws for te day...I made a willow tree dissspear with a 150t and a 441:cool:...the nice lady of the house provided us with hot buttered scones:thumbup:...raced through the next conifer dismantle and had our lunch in Sainsburys car park....before the last job of the day...Chris cut and held most of a cherry dismantle over a shed and precious flowers ..good job Mr Gill....I too love silky work...
  16. Up very early for cycle to the Cathedral and witness the morning Sunrise:)

Thanks Jonny for the kind words...I enjoyed climbing for you and the Maple came down in text book fashion...thanks for the work and the lowering...we will meet in the future I'm sure and like I said to yaffle..you too would be a great addition to the "Dream Team!":) and the Thunderird 4 helmet will continue to appear on the thread APBELL:thumbup:
