  3. This post is about my progression...separate from my workplace. That's why I created the Bang Tidy thread...this is Silky's world...a short thought before bedtime.i have a life outside the 9 to 5.my Thread is accelerating towards a quarter of a million views.and still I cannot emphasise enough, it is all about inspiration, self belief and setting one's sights to maximize your own potential. If I can do it......so can you! Vermeer are now using pictures they took of the team and video in their advertising.how cool is that......if you are a budding tree climber..Arborist..tree Surgeon...woodworker...or just somebody who has hit a brick wall in their life....make tommorow count! Push yourself like never before...it's almost the weekend and think how good about yourself you'll feel if you gave if your best shot?.....I did:)
  4. Haha! Separated at birth:p....I used Honey Brothers for all my climbing kit down south....but have converted to Gustharts now I'm home....really friendly team....excellent service...I highly reccomend them!
  5. Yeah Boss....I don't mess around when I'm up a tree....unlike Will from Vermeer who turned up onsite to film an interview for Vermeer UK....he is camper than a row of pink tents!:D:D
  6. Chris has just purchased this item....been looking at them for a while but they are pricey.....I'm a big fan of Tony Darbyshire's products so hopefuly we will be pleased with its effectivness:thumbup:
  7. A few of the team at Gustharts...I'll add more when they are'nt busy....like Chris who was busy loler'ing my kit....
  8. We made short work of the Chestnut today...Chris dropped it down the Vermeer chomped it up and I enjoyed using the 066 with a 25 inch bar to slice it up...088 ring the butt end:thumbup:
  9. Enjoyable cycle home to a sunset at Fox Cottage:)
  10. No chance Clive... but you remember I take all the photo's wherever I go....not many pictures of me:rolleyes:....me abd Chris are both dismantling tommorow....and saturday:thumbup:
  11. Chris was about to jump and end it all until I reminded him it was only 2 days to Scrumpy Friday....
  12. I've always wondered how to install a Teufelberger pulley saver from the ground....now I know....Phil from Gustharts showed me this neat trick with a German device:thumbup::thumbup:
  13. Tried to shoot one of the elite gaurds to fall into it....but nothing....difinately not a Vermeer 230XL then:rolleyes:
  14. How random is this?....playing Halo this morning I stumbled across.......a woodchipper???
  15. The long walk............ ironically Chris's climbing rope failed it's loler this morning. And now he is himself returning to the infectious desieses ward for an inspection...and he's hoping his life isn't frayed at the edges or hanging by a thread:D
  16. You can see by the shape of the top how it would cause problems...weight wise etc ..
  17. Chris will like that a lot Ian...quality work as usual:thumbup:
