  6. Was great to catch up with Samuel and in the light of dsy see the amazing Car he picked me up in!.....almost home. Gonna jet wash the Navara so it looks it's best when my son sees it....

  8. Thanks to Samuel for picking me up at the other end in his Morris Minor...that was an experience! So dark out here in the countryside south of Sheffield....can't see nowt....driving back tommorow...Engine is Sound Mr Walker:thumbup:

  12. The end of an Era began this morning as I cycled down the hill to work. I cycle everywhere...especially to train stations..life is good these days, I enjoy my work, I post about it....I cycle....and cycle....and......you get the picture. BUT...something is missing. I Still need to travel and people...continue my Adventure...but no longer by bike...Today was apprentice Conner's 18th Birthday he celebrated it with the team working:rolleyes: but we did have very generous customers...now I am on my final mission using public transport...off to see my old friend and climbing buddy Samuel....and to aquire a pick up. He always said I could buy it off him and true to his word he has invited me down to collect it...i will still cycle to work everyday...rain...snow..whatever...but when it is "me" time...I will travel in style...with my son and grandson!....and visit Arbtalkers at weekends for Adventures I can post to my thread:):) "In desperate times"...the story continues:thumbup:
  13. Just got a lift to the train station in Chris' s Hi lux....I have driven it and used it many times...its a very good ride:thumbup::thumbup:

  17. I always think of my Silky as a knife anyway...a tree knife.....its basically a saw set with lots of very small razor sharp knives....thats why it makes such a lot of dammage when it contacts skin....just like a scalpel...
  18. I love seeing my Grandson on the weekends......but I can't wait to cycle up the Big Hill and get home to play my new Game!
