  6. Thanks for the concern chaps:thumbup: I shall have my gas reconnected by the end of week hopefuly....in the meantime......what a beautiful night's sleep I had in my old room:) why did I ever move out? (26 years ago:D)...commuted the 18 miles to work and even arrived 4 minutes early:)

My Gas had been iff for too long now and Up at Fox cottage the temperature has fallen well below zero at night...last night in bed a wore...a vest...base layer..two fleeces..a wooly hat...and a heavy desert smock!....oh and two pairs of trousers with thermal socks...still cold in the morning:rolleyes: even with three oil filled radiators on full its still freezing! So I headed off to my Folks home armed with two bags of logs...ironically as I wsljef into the warmth of the Family home, I recieved a text from the Landlord saying the part they ordered to fix my Gas supply had arrived but was the wrong one! So I'm staying here for the night....its an old Victorian house with 7 open fires to choose from...most surrounded by Frosterly marble and each one a Very welcome sight.....so it was Pork supper in front of a roaring fire wstching my favourite T.V show....X-treme Fishing!:thumbup:

  10. What a contrast...this morning, it was minus 3..... and after an absolutely beautiful Sunny day with an almost unbroken blue sky, I am witness to this Awsome sunset;)

  13. after a couple of weeks without the AT (Due to puncture) it has returned!
  14. Vermeer went in for it's first service ..50 hours of perfect chipping....what a workhorse!:thumbup:
  15. My Landlord won't allow tenants to use the fireplaces Jon otherwise I would be enjoying a roaring fire each night now....shame cos there is a load of Seasoned Ash at the yard and I cut some nice Cherry from yesterdays job.....

  17. Thanks for the video and the post Samuel:thumbup: I really enjoyed a warm sunny day removed a heavy lateral across an old lady,s shed roof and now its freezing in Fox Cottage. The bloke who mantains buildings here smelt gas and so im cut off until they get a part so thankfuly I was given some radiators snd placed them around my favourite chair:)
