  1. Oh well...she's gone back and so im alone in the cottage for one final month...I am determined to enjoy it...she days she'll visit at Xmas:)

  3. Yes Jon...she made herself right at home in the pick-up...and we had a Romantic evening in the cottage.. she bought a few things for the winter and a little rocking horse for Ozzy. Filipinas are expert shoppers!
  4. Leaving London was easy.... Leaving Mrs Fox.....not so easy:thumbdown:...She means the world to me and is with me now for the weekend!!!!!:):):):):)
  5. :D:D well the truth is...they were both Christened with "Old Rosie" Cloudy Cider the first day we wore them!
  6. No...Mrs Fox rarely drinks....and I shall limit myself to 2.5 litres during the afternoon so I can last all night:D
  7. This is Pete...a tree surgeon who moved into a lovely cottage one week ago. Onthe night of the storm he went outside and although he knew there wad a monumental Gale occuring,he felt sure all trees would still be upright in the morning........WRONG.....There was no noise except for the scratch of a small branch landing on the roof...he took a look outside........
  8. The countdown is on....one week to go to Tuckers! Or "Truckers" as Mr Plogs calls it. A real Gem of a drinking establishment. So my local had made sure I have plenty of apple juice to train with tonite....and Mrs Fox is coming from London to spend the weekend with me! :)

  11. Going to look for a cheap bedsit this weekend...but going to enjoy my last few weeks here....cleaned it this morning then washed the pick up...

What a VERY VERY long and windy day yesterday!...Connor was a great help especially with splitting the Ash that had gone over during the storm...twas nice to get back to Fox Cottage now the Gas has returned and heat is restored.Although I shall be moving to cheaper accomodation at the end of the year i will be warm....there were hailstones yesterday and ice on my doorstep this morning.i am used to being without internet at home now but can't wait to get my computer online as broadband is a must for my next place.....I miss my journalistic postings.....on a final point...the world lost an incredible human being today....R.I..P Nelson.
  13. Just had a call out...Ash tree across the road and through a dry stone wall....stay safe out there lads!
  14. Woke up as usual...1 minute before my alarm goes off:confused: the body clock is an amazing thing! Checked my e mails to find a nice suprise....a mate is making me a wooden Silky handle:) looking good D:thumbup:
