  1. Hi. We have found that the thing to avoid is anything that may jar the joint. apparently jarring is usually the cause (we have all banged a spade in the ground and felt it jar our whole arm as it hits something hard.) Gentle exercise is the best. I have heard that the injections can help and can mean it can be (almost) good as new after a while. If it continues and you opt for the operation this can reduce the strengh in that arm. I wouldn't give up hope of climbing again just yet.
  2. Hi, We have just employed a full time web designer to enable us to provide a full website design and build service specifically for the landscaping and arb industries. We give discounts to our members and just thought we would let you know we would be happy to also offer discounts to Arb Talk and Landscaper Talk members. If any of you are interested please see our web design section on our site http://www.gardenbusinessinsider.co.uk Merry Christmas from all at Garden Business Insider
  3. Hi Arob, Thanks for taking the time to look at our site. Yes it is. I think if you take the time to look at all the sections on the right hand navigation, you will probably agree it's good value for money. All the information on the site is based purely on our experience, and there is no recycled information or basic generic advice. Every annual subscription we receive also increases the donations we are making to local charitable organisations. Any feedback on the site is always welcome.
  4. Hi, We are new to the forum, so just thought we'd introduce ourselves. We own a successful landscaping business based on the Hampshire/ Wiltshire border, and have recently constructed a new website intended specifically for anyone working in the landscape or gardening industry. You will find much of the information is also as relevant to the arb industry. Please feel free to browse the site http://www.gardenbusinessinsider.co.uk. We will put some more interesting posts on the forum in due course.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
