  1. And it gets worse! They are going to make it so you have to do 5 days training over 5 years to keep your license so they can do away with so called granddad rights. So if you drive a lorry once in 5 years that’s 5 days training you need to do.
  2. Only good money if level 2 or up first level has high pass rate then its getting the work
  3. Has to be GRCS every time, been using one for a bit, if there is the right rigging possibility’s you can slowly fell a tree, and good for removing half a tree in one go, what I have found though is if you are winching up a limb try to clear the very upper canopy first. (Were your pulley block is)
  4. I tend to drop-crouch them if I can (if the tree has good growth) gives good natural shape with less/small cuts.
  5. I find using the marines way of climbing a rope helpful for foot locking. Is hard to describe though.
  6. Should work fine, I’m a part time rock climbing instructor and I have found that a petzl gri gri is best for belying because you don’t have to hold on to tight to the dead end of the rope (can get hard work), and helps pull small kids up to give them a hand, be warned the kids on the ground getting bored, have had more problems with that then ones in the air.
  7. no sorry, anywere else yea, if you know what you want on-line the the way.
  8. Would like to know the law on airbrushing, I like the ones sherrill tree sell in the U.S thay pass petzal but don’t know what it is in the U.K. anyone know?
